About me

I am an artist based in London, creating collages combining cut material, hand-drawn elements, small sculpture, silk embroidery, and acrylic/spraypaint.

My work features plants and creatures from the natural world, whether drawn, cut from magazine print, crafted in clay, or sometimes the creature itself, often contrasted against the presence of people/humanity and the things we have created. The tension and connection between the duality of concepts (organic and man-made, rigid and soft, colour and neutrality), are what interest me and drive my work.

I am influenced by the beautiful and vast landscapes of Australia and the United Arab Emirates, two countries in which I spent most of my childhood. A pull towards open spaces and an early love of maths, mean that the geometry of horizon lines and circles representing suns/moons, feature in much of my work.

Overall, my objective is to create uplifting and thought-provoking work, highlighting the beauty of the world around us, and how vital plants and other animals are to us and to the planet.
